The popular podcast Secrets from a Coach marked Random Acts of Kindness Week by launching a new set of Kindness Cards, aimed at inspiring personal reflection and well-being. Designed for both individuals and teams, the cards offer practical advice and thoughtful quotes to encourage kindness in everyday life.
Each pack includes 30 cards, along with two bonus cards, one for each day of the month. The cards offer tips to help users navigate daily challenges, manage stress, and develop skills that foster resilience, confidence, and self-awareness. The initiative was created to offer users a brief moment each day to pause, reflect, and redirect their actions towards positivity and growth.
Debbie Green, wellness coach at Wishfish and co-presenter of Secrets from a Coach, described the cards as “a wellness coach in a box.” She explained how the cards could motivate individuals to stay grounded and show kindness to themselves. “Offering a few minutes of reflection, they’re a great way to learn, grow, and take a breath during a busy day,” Green said. “They can be used either individually or with your team at work, and they also make thoughtful gifts. What random act of kindness can you do this week for yourself or others?”
Inspired by Green’s daily Instagram posts, the Kindness Cards were designed to be easy to use, whether at home or in the workplace. Priced at £10 per pack, they are available to purchase through the Secrets from a Coach website, with an additional charge for postage and packaging.
The launch of the Kindness Cards coincided with Random Acts of Kindness Week, which ran from 14 to 20 February. The annual event encourages individuals to focus on how they can spread kindness within their communities and make meaningful connections with others.
The Secrets from a Coach podcast, which Green co-hosts alongside business coach Claire Pedrick, offers practical advice and insights on navigating the complexities of the modern workplace. Each episode, which lasts around 30 minutes, is designed to fit easily into a listener’s commute, lunch break, or personal time for self-care. A new episode is released every Friday, providing guidance on how to take positive action in both professional and personal life.
Green highlighted how the Kindness Cards align with the podcast’s ethos of providing real-world tools to help listeners thrive. “The podcast has always been about offering practical learning based on the realities of the workplace today. The Kindness Cards are an extension of that, helping individuals and teams to stay mindful and resilient in the face of daily pressures,” she said.
The launch was met with positive feedback from users who welcomed the opportunity to incorporate small acts of kindness into their routines. Green hopes that the cards will not only inspire reflection but also promote a culture of kindness within teams and workplaces.
With the success of the Secrets from a Coach podcast and the introduction of the Kindness Cards, Green and Pedrick aim to continue offering innovative ways to foster well-being and personal development in a fast-paced world.
