Appian (Nasdaq: APPN) has achieved significant recognition in the latest Gartner Critical Capabilities for Low-Code Application Platforms (LCAP) report, securing the top position for the Complex Internal Applications Use Case. Additionally, Appian ranked second for both External-Facing Applications and Tactical Internal Applications Use Cases, highlighting its strong performance across multiple categories.
This report evaluated 13 low-code platform vendors, providing a comprehensive technical analysis and detailed Use Case charts that complement the Gartner Magic Quadrant analysis. The findings aim to equip customers with a deeper understanding of various low-code platforms, enabling them to select the best solution tailored to their specific business requirements.
Each vendor was assessed based on three critical capabilities, which were weighted according to the respective Use Cases. Appian stood out by achieving the highest score of 3.93 for the Complex Internal Applications Use Case, while also earning scores of 3.71 and 3.96 for External-Facing and Tactical Internal Applications, respectively.
